Your Concreting Experts

Briskey Concreting was first established in 1988, originally in Hervey Bay. We are a family business, operating in Townsville since 1997. We were founded by Colin Briskey. His son Craig has been by his side since 1995. Craig and his wife Kristy have operated the business since in 2013.

You can’t match our experience. With nearly 30 years in the industry, Craig and his qualified team are more than capable of ensuring our work has the best possible outcome. We specialise in a range of finishes, including exposed aggregate, plain concrete, stamped or stencil. Briskey Concreting also have a 3.5-tonne excavator with attachments, Dingo machine, 100m trencher and a 6-tonne tipper to suit most household excavation requirements. We can also supply and install stormwater drainage.

Did You Know?

Concrete is not ‘just concrete’. There is much more to it and, if not done correctly, things will go wrong. There are certain factors to each individual job and every job is different. Briskey Concreting go over and above for the best result possible.

We use 32MPa strength concrete with F72 Reo and always go over the 100mm required thickness for your household driveways, patios, paths, etc. We always dowl with galvanised or black 12mm x 0.400mm long dowls at 0.500mm–0.600mm centres where required. We use Ableflex for expansion and sawcut or tool joints are installed where needed, making sure your sub base is sufficient and falls are heading in the right direction. Every job site is left clean and tidy on completion of the job with surroundings not covered in concrete splash, etc.
